RESOLVED
Subcouncil 24 supports the recommendation that:
It is recommended that the lease of portion of public place, erf 9304 adjacent erf 9298 situated at Picasso Close, Somerset West shown hatched and lettered ABCDEFGHJ on the attached sketch ET 732 marked annexure A, in extent approximately 3 341 m2, to Picasso Trust or its successors in title, BE APPROVED subjected to inter alia the following conditions: |

A tariff rental of R3 289, 57 per annum excluding VAT calculated at the rate applicable at the time of transaction be payable. Rates not applicable;

The lease endures for a period of ten (10) years, with an option to renew for further ten (10) years;

The rental will be adjusted annually in terms of the rental tariff structure as approved by Council;

The property be used for gardening and security purposes only;

Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;

No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property. .
