The purpose of the report to consider a proposed lease for gardening and a play park.

RESOLVED
The members SUPPORTED the recommendation
That the lease of portion of public open space, being a portion of erf 103533 Cape Town situated at Jeram Avenue, Gatesville, shown hatched and lettered ABCD on the attached sketch STC 3297 marked annexure A, in extent approximately 1086m2 , to The Cape Hindu Cultural Society, owner of Erf 107257 or his successors in tittle, be approved subject to inter alia the following conditions:

A tariff rental of R920.00 per annum excluding VAT calculated at the rate applicable at the time of transaction be payable. Rates not applicable;

The lease will endure for a period of ten years;

The rental will be adjusted annually in terms of the rental tariff structure as approved by Council;

The property be used for gardening and play park purposes only;

Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director. Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;

Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;

No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property.
