Activity Day Meeting- 6 October 2021
Goodman Rorwana reported that Hakeem Abed sent in an apology for this meeting and provided feedback in writing which reads as follows: “Macassar Footbridge: I have a meeting today with an experienced engineer who will be assisting with the Technical Design and Specification for the footbridge. I will provide feedback once I have more information after the meeting”.
Cllr Isaacs stated that it is unbelievable and to get in an engineer, as it is taking far too long and another excuse to delay this process.
The Chairperson responded that the Subcouncil expressed their dismay at the length of time it has taken to implement this project with numerous excuses which is unacceptable.

That the item REMAINS on the MRA’s.

Motion received from Councillor Victor Isaacs that Subcouncil 24 engage with the responsible department to install a footbridge over the canal in Macassar Village
MATTERS RECEIVING ATTENTION - WARD 109
The Subcouncil Manager explained that Ward 109 was previously part of Subcouncil 24 and therefore all the matters receiving attention was carried over to Subcouncil 21. Cllr Helfrich, the ward councillor of ward 109 said that these matters can be dealt with directly with the line departments and therefore proposed that it be closed. |
