RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND
Subcouncil 20 supports that a portion of Erf 98001 Cape Town situated off Riverton Road, Rondebosch measuring approximately 18m² in extent, indicated as ABCD on Plan STC 3612 marked annexure A, be reserved for the Department: Electricity Generation and Distribution (Directorate: Energy and Climate Change), subject to the following Conditions:

The subject property shall be utilised for a Miniature Electricity Substation only.

The Electricity Generation and Distribution Department takes responsibility for the required land use processes, as well as compliance with any related legislation.

The said Department accepts full responsibility for the management and maintenance of the subject property, including, utility consumption security and contents insurance.

All costs related to the reservation shall be for the account of the Electricity Generation and Distribution Department.
