PROPOSED LEASE OF CITY LAND, PORTION OF ERF 101680 CAPE TOWN, OFF GOUDINI ROAD, HEIDEVELD FOR GARDENING AND SECURITY PURPOSES: LAMEEZ AND MOGAMAT SHAFIEK KAMISH

Cllr Moses proposed non – support of the application and informed the Subcouncil that report to be advertised in geographical newspapers because it deprives Local community of giving input.

The installation of fencing on road reserve poses traffic risk to pedestrian’s safety and obstruct the view of road users in the corners of Goundini street and Katberg street.
There is no prejudice labelled against the applicants but there are major traffic risks related to the proposed lease of land and in terms of oversight role as public servant the application cannot be supported.
The City of Cape Town will be creating a precedence if the application is supported.

The item NOT SUPPORTED by members of Subcouncil for the following reasons
