Mr. Daniels reported that this item was deferred in the previous Subcouncil meeting because there was no official to explain it.

She explained that the report was a proposal for the Subcouncil to accept the sale disposal of ERF4501 to Ikhaya Loxolo Lase Gugulethu NPC for social care purposes. She indicated that in terms of the MFMA policy selling of a property for social care purposes to an NGO or NPO is sold at 25% of the market value hence the purchase price is 475 000 excluding vat, she added that the price will escalate by 8% per annum. Due to COVID 19 the value is re-determined at 5% from the 1st of April until the date of registration.
