That Recreation and Parks be tasked with repairing the boardwalks as soon as possible to safely accommodate visitors, holidaymakers and tourists at the beach.
That Mr Richard Bosman be tasked with deploying additional Law Enforcement Officers in order to contribute to the safety of everyone during the festive season.
C.That Mr Jan Fourie (Acting Director: Recreation and Parks) be tasked with ensuring that the public ablution facilities be safe and clean during the festive season.

The following emanates from the Subcouncil meeting of 19 November 2020:
The Festive Preparedness Plan for the City of Cape Town is an item (03SUB 29/11/20) on the Subcouncil agenda for November 2020.
Councillor Groenewoud requested the contract between the City and Sunset Links in order to establish who should be responsible for the maintenance of the boardwalks. It was requested that the item remain on the Matters Receiving Attention schedule until the boardwalks are maintained.
