23SUB11/9/2020Cllr Jansen submitted a motion to have street lights implemented in the remainder of the avenues in Schaapkraal, Knole Park and the rest of the Phillipi Horticultural Areas (PHA). 
 
This motion seeks to deal with the issue around streets and avenues in the PHA that still does not have adequate street lighting.  This included areas like Schaapkraal, Knole Park and the main arterials in the PHA i.e. Varkensvlei Road, Olieboom Road, Schaapkraal Road, Ottery Road, etc.
 
The motion stated that a street lighting implementation programme be presented to Subcouncil 23 in order for Subcouncil to monitor progress.
 
                                    In view of the above, it was RECOMMENDED that,
 

a) Subcouncil 23 SUPPORT the motion to have street lights implemented in the remainder of avenues in Schaapkraal, Knole Park and the rest of Phillipi Horticultural Areas.
