That it BE NOTED that an application for a liquor licence received from Tequila Liquor Shop was considered in terms of sub-delegated authority and that the following recommendation was forwarded to the Liquor Authority in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act, 2008, as amended;

That the application for an Off-consumption premises liquor licence, Reference No LLA20080020, for the business Tequila Liquor Shop NOT BE SUPPORTED for the following reasons:

The proper zoning of the property is not in place;
Bellville-South High and Primary Schools are within 300m of the proposed outlet.
