The following emanates from the Subcouncil meeting of 19 November 2020:
Pages 83, 90 and 98, Items, 03SUB 10/07/2020, 03SUB 07/09/2020 and 03SUB 08/10/2020 – UPDATE TO SUBCOUNCIL 3 AND 15 ON THE MEASURES TO ADDRESS POLLUTION OF THE DIEP RIVER/MILNERTON LAGOON
Mr Ben de Wet (Water and Sanitation) was present
It was noted that the cost of the water quality improvement plan will be included in the next report.
The Subcouncil Manager informed the Councillors that the three items as mentioned above will be combined in the next Matters Receiving Attention report.

That the contents of the report be noted.
That the Subcouncil Manager be tasked with forwarding the concerns of the Subcouncil regarding budget cuts to Mr Michael Webster (Executive Director: Water and Waste), Mr Kevin Jacoby (Chief Financial Officer), Councillor Xanthea Limberg (Mayco Member: Water and Waste) and Alderman Ian Neilson (Mayco Member: Finance).
That Mr Michael Webster (Executive Director: Water and Waste) be tasked to submit a report confirming that the Potsdam Waste Water Treatment Plant upgrades to be completed by 2025 will be sufficient enough to cope with the proposed population growth and intended residential development in the area.
