RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND
 
Subcouncil 20 supports that the lease of portion of City Land, being a portion of Erf 67109 Cape Town, situated at 9 Langley Road, Wynberg shown hatched on the aerial photograph marked Annexure A in extent approximately 465m², to Philisa Abafazi Bethu Women’s Centre, be approved subject to inter alia the following Conditions, that:
 

1. A tariff rental of R966.09 per annum inclusive of rates, excluding VAT, being R144. 91 (in total R1 111)

2. The rental is subject to increase in terms of rental for leased land as determined from time to time by Council.

3. The lease will endure for a period of three years;

4. The property be used for a place of safety only;

5. The rental is exclusive of all municipal services i.e water and electricity;

6. Subject to such further Conditions be imposed by the Director:  Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;

7. Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;

8. No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property;
