RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND
 
Subcouncil 20 supports that the lease of a portion of Public Street, being a portion of Erf 63789 Cape Town, situated at Main Road, Kenilworth, shown hatched and lettered ABCDEFGHJKLMN on the attached sketch STC 3579 marked annexure A, in extent approximately 511m², to The Albany, owner of remainder of Erf 63790 or his successors in title, be approved subject to inter alia the following Conditions:
 

1. A tariff rental of R3 783.00 per annum excluding VAT calculated at the rate applicable at the time of transaction be payable. Rates not applicable.

2. The lease will endure for a period of ten years;

3. The rental will be adjusted annually in terms of the rental tariff structure as approved by Council;

4. The property be used for gardening and security purposes only;

5. Subject to such further Conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;

6. Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements.
