Resolution detail

 RESOLVED that:
 

1. Subcouncil 16 adopted the motion of exigency for the Beautification of the Kloof and Nettleton Road Traffic Island.

 

2. the motion of exigency be submitted to the Executives Directors, Community Services & Health and Transport Directorates to address the following;

 
(i)  planning between Roads and Recreation & Parks Department is done
     to plan the way forward.
 
(ii) the tar is removed from the traffic island, the edges are built higher
     with appropriate materials to prevent illegal parking and that low
     maintenance indigenous landscaping is installed.
 
(iii) coupled with this an assessment is done by the Roads Department
      for a solution to the poor sight lines created for cars exiting Nettleton
      Road.


18/01/2021:Unanimously resolved that this project is completed. This item may be removed from the MRA .
