Subcouncil 24 supports the recommendation that:
It is recommended that the motion submitted by Ald Stuart Pringle be supported and that the City provide a report to the Subcouncil regarding provision of additional portable toilets to Rasta Kamp, Stoffpad, Uitkyk and Pinetown.

Activity Day Meeting 06 October 2021
The Chairperson thanked the official for the feedback received but the issue is slightly broader and that it is also talking about the rationalisation of toilets i.e. the broken complete toilets being removed and referred to the MRA schedule dated 26 April 2021 where it reads “the project for repairs and maintenance of the broken full flush toilets will commence soon”. He also received a report on whether or not any toilets have been removed and what the status is of all the toilets in the area as this was ultimately the idea of this motion.
Goodman Rorwana responded that engagement has taken between the Chairperson and Norman Mqokozo and where the Chairperson has requested the stats regarding the toilets that have been installed in that area because the idea was to remove the motion and this is the third part of the response that the Chairperson is raising now. He said if the Chairperson is happy with what Mr Mqokozo has sent then the Subcouncil can follow up with Mr Mbonomtsha as to what is going to happen to those toilets that are standing there that needs to be removed.
RESOLVED
That the Subcouncil follow-up with Mr Mbonomtsha regarding the toilets that are standing Rastakamp that needs to be removed.

MATTERS RECEIVING ATTENTION FOR WARDS 15 AND 84
The Subcouncil Manager explained that Ward 15 and 84 was previously part of Subcouncil 24 and therefore all the matters receiving attention was carried over to Subcouncil 8. Cllr Peck and McFarlane, the ward councillors of ward 15 and 84 said that these matters could be dealt with directly with the line departments at a separate meeting that will be arranged by the Subcouncil office therefore it be proposed that the Matters Receiving for Wards 15 and 84 be closed.
RESOLVED
That all the matters receiving attention relating to Wards 15 and 84, BE CLOSED.
