RESOLVED to RECOMMEND that a portion of  Erf 367 Cape Town situated at the corner of Strand  and Castle Street, Cape Town, measuring approximately  5249 m² in extent, indicated as ABCDEFGHJKLMNPQ on Plan STC 3318 marked annexure “A”, be reserved for the Department: Facilities Management( Directorate: Economic  Opportunities and Assets Management), subject to the following conditions:
 
 

1. The subject property will be ustilised for a Metro Police Operation Centre only;

2. The Facilities Management Department takes responsibility for the required land use processes, as well as compliance with any related legislation;

3. The said department accepts full responsibility for the management and maintenance of the subject property, including utility consumption, security and content insurance.

      d) That all costs related to the reservation shall be for  the account  of the Department Facilities
            Management.
