It was RESOLVED that Subcouncil 15
-
support the cancellation of Business Survey Ward 56 - WBS s20.00159 NO.15.BS for the total project value of R200 000;
-
support the reallocation of the abovementioned R200 000 as follows:

R100 000 to a new project Public Art at Council Facilities and Public Housing Ward 56 & Langa;

R100 000 to a new project Electrical R&M to Public Facilities Ward 56 & Langa

support the reallocation of R786 420.00 from the initially approved project of R1 455 000 Rental Stock R&M Ward 56 & Langa WBS s20.00159-NO.15.RM – to a new project Electrical R&M to Public Facilities Ward 56 & Langa in the project value of R886 420.00

having due regard to the current health situation and time constraints relevant to the execution of MURP projects before 30 June 2020, the Subcouncil Manager in consultation with the Subcouncil Chairperson and relevant Ward Councillors, BE MANDATED to take decisions on the reallocation of potential savings being realised on existing projects from time to time, on the basis, that these be reported, to the ensuing Subcouncil Meeting for information.
