Activity Day Meeting - 6 October 2021
Solomzi reported that funding in principle has been made available and sent an email to Cllr Ngwekazi that the area is unsafe and there are shacks on some parts of the road reserve which need to be removed very soon in order for the roundabout to be constructed. They also want to start with public participation and relocation of people as soon as possible so that they don’t run into problems as construction will commence around March/April 2022.
The Chairperson stated that this issue be tackled immediately after the election and the new Cllr needs to be briefed and if it involves moving people then it will be another process.
RESOLVED
That this issue be dealt with after the election to deal with the relocation of the shack that is encroaching on the site where construction is going to happen.
