The Subcouncil Manager informed the members of the current status of both Capital and Operating Ward Allocation projects’ expenditure as reflected on PCER. |
CPX.0015490-F1 Upgrade Parks Ward 44 (Kopperkring Park) – R150 000

Quotations has been requested for Adjustment budget to supply and install gates and additional fence using approved transversal tender 50 Q. Awaiting for quotations
CPX.0015492-F1 Upgrade Parks Ward 46 (Orion Park) – R750 000

Purchase Order has been received for supply and install fiber flex to multi-purpose court. Received quotations for supply and install tarmac bases for running track and tarmac base for multipurpose court, In the process of compiling works tender document 288Q/2018/2019. Project anticipated to commence February 2020 and anticipated to complete April 2020.

Purchase orders have been created for generator, jumping castle, projector, screen and sound system. Projector has been delivered and awaiting delivery for generator, screen, tripod and jumping castle.

Tender 30C/2018/19 to be used to appoint a new Landscape Designer. Meeting concluded on 10 February 2020 with consultant. Anticipate to receive quotation by last week in February 2020. Thereafter a meeting will be arranged with all relevant stakeholders.

Concerns from the Cllr Bongani Ngcombolo

Cllr Bongani Ngcombolo requested that the Line Department consider procuring different menus at the training sessions. Mrs Nomfundo explained the standard menu and said that they will procure different menue.
Drivers Licence Programme

The Subcouncil Manager informed the members that Beneficiaries are in the process of attending driver’s license classes. Actual expenditure R19 290.
Youth Cadet Development Programme

The Subcouncil Manager informed the members that Logistics has been discussed with Ward Councillor and Subcouncil has generated RFQ for equipment and awaiting uniform sizes fom A Green.

The Subcouncil Manager informed the members that Mr Godfrey Domingo has submitted RFQ to SCM .
