The Subcouncil resolved that the recommendation by Councillor Groenewoud be supported:
That the recommendation in the report be amended to conditionally approve the application with the provision and understanding that a gate be installed by the residents and removed should and when the City of Cape Town require access to the lane in order to provide appropriate services.
