Mr Xolile Fula was present to address the item.
Mr Fula acknowledge that rental stock, in general, has been severely neglected. He said that the City has invested more than R180 million in maintenance. He further acknowledged that the turnaround times to attend to service requests are very slow resulting in residents having to return to log the same request.
