Resolution detail

 RESOLVED unanimously by the Subcouncil 2
 

1. That the C3 Notifications in respect of Sewer blockages complaints BE NOTED;
2. That an alternative measure be looked at to prevent continuous blockages at certain areas;
3. That the possibility of a tree root maintenance plan be investigated;
4. That the sewer department be requested to provide a report on the educational roll out to create awareness in the community in order to prevent sewer blockages;  
5. That all names of problematic sewer blockages areas be forwarded to Water and Sanitation department who will then forward it to the technical team to investigate the matter in depth to establish the root causes;
6. That a task team be established to assist the Line Department with sewer related matters in Subcouncil.
