Resolution detail

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED to RECOMMEND that the lease portion of Erf 10138 situated at 4 Buitensingel Street, Cape Town, shown hatched on the aerial photograph marked Annexure A, attached to the report, in extent approximately ±900 m², to NICRO (The South African National Institute of Crime Prevention and Rehabilitation of offenders), BE APPROVED subject inter alia the following conditions:
 

1. A tariff rental of R920.00 per annum, inclusive of rates, excluding VAT, being R138.00 (in total R1058) be payable.
    
2. Subject to any increase in terms of tariff for social care as approved by Council annually;
    
3. The lease will endure for a period of three years;
    
4. The property be used for social care purposes only;
    
5. The rental is exclusive of all municipal services i.e. water and electricity;
    
6. Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;
    
7. Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;
    
8. No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property;
    
9. The lessee is to ensure that the necessary land use permissions, if applicable, are in place for the duration of the lease period.
