Resolution detail

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED to RECOMMEND that the lease of City land, being portion of Erf 123302 Cape Town, situated at Hout Street, Bo-Kaap, shown hatched and lettered ABCD on the sketch 3295 marked annexure A attached to the report, in extent approximately 989 m², to Straatwerk or their sucessors in title BE APPROVED subject to inter alia the following conditions:
 

1. A tariff rental of R920.00 per annum excluding VAT calculated at the rate applicable at the time of transaction be payable.  Rates not applicable;
    
2. The lease will endure for a period of ten years;
    
3. The rental will be adjusted annually in terms of the rental tariff structure as approved by the Council;
    
4. The property be used for social development projects and the provision of public ablution facilities purposes only;
    
5. Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;
    
6. Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;
    
7. No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property.
