It was RESOLVED to RECOMMEND that the lease of portion of Erf 3138 situated at The Oval, St Stephens Road Pinelands shown hatched and lettered ABCDEF on the sketch STC 2785 marked annexure A, in the report, in the extent approximately2669 m², to the Scouts South Africa (1^st Pinelands Scout Group) or their successors in title, be approved subject to inter alia the following conditions:
 

1. A tariff rental of R920.00 per annum excluding VAT calculated at the rate applicable at the time of transaction be payable. Rates not applicable;

2. The lease will endure for a period of ten years;

3. The rental will be adjusted annually in terms of the rental tariff structure as approved by Council;

4. The property be used for scouting purposes only;

5. Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;

6. Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;

7. No compensation will be payable for any improvements made to the property.
