It is recommended that:
-
In terms of Sections: 14(2) (a) and (b) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), Act 56 of 2003;

Council resolve that Erf 10809, Kraaifontein118 9th Avenue, Belmont Park measuring approximately 496m in extent (see attached Annexure A for plan LIS 2028), be regarded as not being required for the provision for the minimum level of basic municpal servics and;
-
Council confirm that the fair market value of the asset described in (a) (i) and the economic and community value to be received in exhange for the asset described in (a) (i) has been considered.
b) In terms of Regulation (50 (1) (b) of the Municipal Asset Transfer Regulation (MART), R878 promulgated on 22 August 2008, Council
approve in prinicple the transfer Erf 10809, Kraaifontein, 118, 9th Avenue, Belmont Park as described in (a) (i), and
c) Erf 10809, Kraaifontein, 118 9th Avenue, Belmont Park, be transferred by public competition, subject to conditions to be imposed
by the the Director: Property Management in the exercise of her delegated authority.
