Resolution detail
It is recommended that:
-
In terms of Sections: 14(2) (a) and (b) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), Act 56 of 2003;

Council resolve that Erf 10816, Kraaifontein, 24 Station Street, Belmont Park measuring approximately 496m in extent (see attached Annexure A for plan LIS 2028), be regarded as not being required for the provision of the minimum level of basic municipal services and;
-
Council confirm that the fair market value of the asset described in (a) (i) and the economic and community value to be received in exchange for the asset described in (a) (i) has been considered;

In terms of Regulation 5(1) (b) of the Municipal Asset Transfer Regulations (MART), R.878 promulgated on 22 August 2008,
Council approve in principle the transfer Erf 10816, Kraaifontein, 24 Station Street, Belmont Park, as described in (a) (i); and
-
Erf 10816, Kraaifontein, 24 Station Street, Belmont Park, be transferred by public competition, subject to conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in the exercise of her delegated authority.
Further Resolved that it also be recommended

That Erf 10816, Kraaifontein, 24 Station Street, Belmont Park be zoned for mixed use before to sale.
