Resolution detail

 It is recommended that the lease of a portion of public street, being a portion of erf 9961adjacent to erf 298 situated on the corner of Thompson and Fagan Street, Strand, shown lettered ABCDE on the attached sketch ET 753 marked annexure A, in extent approximately 96m², to the Castelyn Trust, owner erf 298 Strand or its successors in title, BE APPROVED subject to inter alia the following condition, that:
 
(a.)     A tariff rental of R522. 61 per annum excluding VAT calculated at the rate applicable at the time of transaction  by payable. Rates not applicable;The lease will endure for a period of ten (10) years with an     option to renew for further ten (10) years. 

(b.)The rental will be adjusted annually in terms of the rental        tariff structure as approved by Council;

(c.)The property be used for gardening and security purposes only;

(d.)Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;

(e.)Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;

(f.) No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property.
