ANNUAL REVIEW OF ORGANISATIONAL PERFORMANACE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (OPM)
Mr Mogamat Abass informed the Subcouncil that the purpose of the report is for the Subcouncils to give input into the annual review of the OPM System. Members of the community are invited to give inputs in respect of the OPM system by 22 October 2019
Ald. Antonio van der Rheede informed the members that the community meetings in his ward is not working e.g. out of a community of 60 000 people only 100 people attend the IDP meeting. He advocated for meaningful engagement door to door and said it affords the communities to submit inputs on the budget, therefore advocate to circumvent the challenges and change the methodology of community engagement.
The Councillors agreed that the report be sent to ward committee members and registered organization to give inputs in respect of the OPM system by 22 October 2019

RESOLVED
The Subcouncil members support the recommendations and note the process for the review of the Organisational Performance Management system and will give input, and recommend it to the Executive Mayor together with Mayco for submission to Council as part of the annual review process |
