That it BE NOTED that an application for a liquor licence received from ARMADA LIQUOR STORE; Ref. No.: LLA19070008 was considered and that the following recommendation be forwarded to the Liquor Authority in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act, 2008, as amended:

SubCouncil 06 recommended that the application for a Consumption OFF Premises Liquor Licence, reference no. LLA19070008, for the business ARMADA LIQUOR STORE BE REFUSED for the following reasons:

The liquor outlet is located within less than 150m from a primary and high school in the area.
The liquor outlet will increase the social problems of the area.
The liquor outlet will have a negative impact on the Socio-economic conditions of the area.
