02SUB3/05/19         PROPOSED REALLOCATION OF PREVIOUSLY SUPPORTED 2019/20 WARD ALLOCATION FUNDS - SUBCOUNCIL 2

                                 RESOLVED

                               a)      It is recommended that:

Subcouncil 2 support and recommend to Council that the previously proposed 2019/20 Ward Allocation funds be reallocated to the projects as set out in Annexure A.

The new projects and proposed 2019/20 budget amendments be included in the 2019/20 Draft Budget.

It is further recommended

That, due to the time constraints relevant to the adoption of the Annual Draft Budget for 2019/20 and Subcouncil not being able to convene a special Subcouncil Meeting due to the cancellation of all statutory meetings for the period 2 May 2019 in view of the election, the action of the Subcouncil Manager to submit the abovementioned recommendation, in anticipation of the support of Subcouncil, to the Director: Budgets for inclusion in the draft annual budget for 2019/20 to be adopted by Council on 29 May 2019 by the end of April 2019, BE RATIFIED AND CONDONED.
