UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that Subcouncil 16:
-
Approves the initiation of the process for the review of the eight(8) 2012 approved District Spatial Development Frameworks ( previously called District Spatial plans);

Approves the specific geographic boundary delineation for the respective District Spatial Development Frameworks;
-
Communicates this project henceforth as the District Spatial Development Framework ( District SDF) Review;
-
Supports that the District Spatial Development Frameworks, once agreed to /approved, be the informant of the technical update of the CTMSDF and the new cycle IDP in 2022 by Council in its new term of office;
-
Supports the proposal to conduct and participate in the proposed built environment empowerment training programme for councillors, officials and community stakeholders.

Subcouncil 16 councillors be allowed the opportunity to make input before the external public participation process starts.
