• The Chairperson stated that this is a matter that has been dealt with by Area Management and hopefully a report will be sent to the Subcouncil. He also suggested that the Subcouncil writes to the Chairperson of the Management Portfolio Committee meeting requesting what impact this motion would have as there was a presentation done on this before.

Goodman Rorwana reported that a workshop is going to be held on the MURP for the following areas i.e. Sir Lowry’s Pass Village, Chris Nissen Park, Macassar and Khayelitsha and the directive is to have one MURP per subcouncil because they want to establish an ACT that will assist in doing projects from the MURP.
