RESOLVED unanimously that the Subcouncil 2 NOTE the decision taken under sub delegated authority by the Subcouncil Manager, the Ward Councillor and the Chairperson in respect of a Championship Dog Show, Ref T180902, namely Subcouncil 2 recommends that the application received from Brackenfell Sports Club for a Section 48(4) Event Liquor Licence for 26-28 October 2018 NOT BE SUPPORTED, Reference No T180902, the reasons being: The land use is not permitted within the current Open Space 3 zoning on Erf 2579, Brackenfell (Sports Complex). The proposed event to permit the intended event (dog show) and sale of alcohol beverages for 3 occurring days, therefore requires an urgent application for occasional use in terms of section 42(u) in respect of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
