RESOLVED unanimously that the Subcouncil 2 NOTE the decision taken under sub delegated authority by the Subcouncil Manager, the Ward Councillor and the Chairperson in respect of Get Real: Ref E1801017, namely Subcouncil 2 recommends that the application received from Luke Mcpherson on behalf of Armando Da Silva for Section 48(4) Event Liquor Licence NOT BE SUPPORTED, Ref E181017. The application is not supported, the reasons being: 1) We cannot support to the issuing of an Event Liquor Licence if the event has not processed & approved by our Event Office. 2) From a fire point we cannot approve the event. The 4m² opening to the dam we cannot use the escape route. On the other side of the vent they create an escape route of 2 m. The owner of the premises must issue us the m² of the usable area of the event space. The amount of people 2000 m² we need another escape for 4 m². At this stage the escape route of 2 m we can accommodate 1000 people. The entrance we excluded. From Bottelary Road to the event is only 1 entrance. We need another emergency exit as well. .
