RESOLVED
That Subcouncil 18 DO NOT SUPPORT the application for a liquor licence received from DC Liquors, Erf 547, Ottery Road, Ottery, 258 Ottery Road, Ottery based on the following reasons :
• The outlet is in close proximity of two schools namely Battswood Primary School and Ottery Youth Centre, Ottery ;
• That outlets such as Kestrel, Pick 'n Pay Hyper and Makro already exist in close proximity of DC Liquors ;
• That forty objections were received from community members in terms of this liquor licence application.
