UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED
That the decisions taken in terms of subdelegated authority ((07SUB03/07/17 (c, d & e)) with respect to the applications for extension of liquor trading hours during the period: August 2018 BE NOTED:
1. Ward 103 - Pick 'n Pay Pinehurst
a. That the application for the extension of liquor trading hours Monday to Saturday (18:00 to 20:00) for off-consumption premises submitted by Pick ‘n Pay Pinehurst BE APPROVED; and
b. That the application for the extension of liquor trading hours Sunday trading (11:00 to 18:00) for off-consumption premises submitted by Pick ‘n Pay Pinehurst BE APPROVED; and
c. That should any reasonable proof be submitted to the Subcouncil in the form of a report from:
1. The Liquor Officer at the local SAPS station; or
2. An Officer from the City of Cape Town’s Liquor Enforcement Unit; or
3. Any other authorised Official of the City of Cape Town,
of that which is regarded to be an offence or transgression in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act or any City of Cape Town Policy or By-Law in respect of the premises or use of the premises, it may result in steps to have this approval revoked.
d. That this approval be valid for 12 months from the date of approval subject to the applicant being in possession of a valid Liquor License.
2. Ward 103 - Pick 'n Pay Liquor Pinehurst
a. That the application for the extension of liquor trading hours Monday to Saturday (18:00 to 20:00) for off-consumption premises submitted by Pick ‘n Pay Liquor Pinehurst BE APPROVED; and
b. That the application for the extension of liquor trading hours Sunday trading (11:00 to 18:00) for off-consumption premises submitted by Pick ‘n Pay Liquor Pinehurst BE APPROVED; and
c. That should any reasonable proof be submitted to the Subcouncil in the form of a report from:
1. The Liquor Officer at the local SAPS station; or
2. An Officer from the City of Cape Town’s Liquor Enforcement Unit; or
3. Any other authorised Official of the City of Cape Town,

a. That the application for the extension of liquor trading hours Monday to Saturday (18:00 to 20:00) for off-consumption premises submitted by Tops at Sonstraal BE APPROVED; and
b. That the application for the extension of liquor trading hours Sunday trading (11:00 to 18:00) for off-consumption premises submitted by Tops at Sonstraal BE APPROVED; and
c. That should any reasonable proof be submitted to the Subcouncil in the form of a report from:
1. The Liquor Officer at the local SAPS station; or
2. An Officer from the City of Cape Town’s Liquor Enforcement Unit; or
3. Any other authorised Official of the City of Cape Town,
of that which is regarded to be an offence or transgression in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act or any City of Cape Town Policy or By-Law in respect of the premises or use of the premises, it may result in steps to have this approval revoked.

4. Ward 103 - Diamond Discount Liquors Pinehurst
a. That the application for the extension of liquor trading hours Monday to Saturday (18:00 to 20:00) for off-consumption premises submitted by Diamonds Discount Liquors Pinehurst BE APPROVED; and
b. That the application for the extension of liquor trading hours Sunday trading (11:00 to 18:00) for off-consumption premises submitted by Diamonds Discount Liquor Pinehurst BE APPROVED; and
c. That should any reasonable proof be submitted to the Subcouncil in the form of a report from:
1. The Liquor Officer at the local SAPS station; or
2. An Officer from the City of Cape Town’s Liquor Enforcement Unit; or
3. Any other authorised Official of the City of Cape Town,
of that which is regarded to be an offence or transgression in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act or any City of Cape Town Policy or By-Law in respect of the premises or use of the premises, it may result in steps to have this approval revoked.

5. Ward 105 - Hillcrest Durbanville
a. That the application for the extension of liquor trading hours Sunday trading (11:00 to 18:00) for off-consumption premises submitted by Hillcrest Durbanville BE APPROVED;
b. That should any reasonable proof be submitted to the Subcouncil in the form of a report from:
1. The Liquor Officer at the local SAPS station; or
2. An Officer from the City of Cape Town’s Liquor Enforcement Unit; or
3. Any other authorised Official of the City of Cape Town,
of that which is regarded to be an offence or transgression in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act or any City of Cape Town Policy or By-Law in respect of the premises or use of the premises, it may result in steps to have this approval revoked.
c. That this approval be valid for 12 months from the date of approval subject to the applicant being in possession of a valid Liquor License.
