18/06/18: UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED to RECOMMEND that:
a) The objection is not upheld.
b) Council resolve in terms of section 14 of the Local Government:
Municipal Finance Management Act, Act 56 of 2003, that the
portions of Public Place situated off Woodside Close, being
portion of Erf 1319 Tamboerskloof hatched and lettered
ABCDEFG in extent measuring approximately 609m², on the
sketch plan STC 2653 marked annexure A attached to the
report is not required to provide the minimum level of basic
municipal services; and has considered the fair market value of
the asset and the economic and community value to be received
in exchange for the asset.
c)Council approve the granting of in–principle approval for the
alienation of portion of Public Space situated off Woodside Close, being portion of Erf 1319 Tamboerskloof hatched and lettered ABCDEFG in extent measuring approximately 609m² on the sketch plan STC 2653 marked annexure A attached to the report, in terms of regulation 5(1) (b) (ii) of the Municipal Asset Transfer Regulations;
d)Council approve of the closure of a portions of Public Street situated in Lemon lane, Public Place situated off Woodside Close, being portion of Erf 1319 Tamboerskloof hatched and lettered ABCDEFG in extent measuring approximately 609m² on the sketch plan STC 2653 marked annexure A attached to the report, in terms of section 4 of the City of Cape
21/05/18: UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that the proposed closure of city-owned immovable property: Portion of public open space erf 1319 Tamboerskloof situated off Woodside Close, Tamboerskloof BE DEFERRED to allow an on-site inspection.
