By majority vote by the Subcouncil 2 that the renewal application by Linge Liquors, (Reference No. 173646) for the extension of liquor trading hours for Sundays from 11:00 to 18:00, for off-consumption premises in respect of Linge Liquors, Erf No. 29457, Walter Sisulu Street, Phase 7, Wallacedene, (Reference 173646) BE REFUSED, the reasons being;
a)The proximity of the licensed premises as there is a crèche , Lusanda Educare Centre, opposite the premises and Wallacedene secondary School down the road;
b) It is not in the public interest of the community to approve it;
c) The application is not supported by SAPS.
