UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED That it BE NOTED that the following application for new liquor license was considered in terms of subdelegated authority and that the following recommendations were forwarded to the Liquor Authority in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act 2008, as amended, during the period 01 February to 28 February 2018 A. LLA1801008 – OK Liquor Goedemoed SubCouncil 07 recommends that the application for a liquor licence received from OK Liquor Goedemoed for the sale of liquor for Consumption ON Premises, Reference No LLA1801008 CONDITIONALLY SUPPORTED: Conditionally Supported subject to: 1. Should trading with foodstuffs take place on the premises, the applicant must apply for a Certificate of Acceptability in terms of the Regulations governing General Hygiene for Food Premises and the Transport of Food R962 dated 23 November 2012 as promulgated under the Health Act 1977 (Act 63 of 1977) – Application forms available from Ms D Williams at 021 444 6738. 2. The premises must comply with the Tobacco Products Control Amendment Act No. 12 of 1999. 3. The premises must comply with the Western Cape Noise Control Regulations, R200 of 20 June 2013. Should complaints regarding noise emanating from the premises be received, Council reserves the right to withdraw any approval granted. 4. All refuse must be stored in such a manner as not to create a health nuisance pending removal. 5. The premises must be rodent proof in terms of the Prevention of Rodent Infestation, Regulation No 1411 of 1966. 6. All employees must have access to sanitary facilities. 7. The premises must comply with the City of Cape Town: Control of Undertakings that sell liquor to the public By-Law, 2013. 8. The Director: City Health reserves the right to call for any additional requirements should it be deemed necessary.
