The following emanates from the Subcouncil Meeting of 22 October 2020:
It was noted that the Property Holding branch is responsible for the processing of applications and to grant rights to/or transfer non-viable and non-exempted properties e.g. a portion of road, reserved for gardening purposes/lanes to the adjacent land owner and manages the City’s existing lease portfolio.
The Chairperson said that the item will remain on the Matters Receiving Attention schedule until Councillor Carstens returns from leave.

It was reported that individual applicants should apply for the use and closures of lanes. The Subcouncil agreed that the item can be removed from the Matters Receiving Attention schedule.
