RECOMMENDED unanimously by Subcouncil 2, that the approval under Sub delegated Authority Part 27(24) (9) by the Executive Director: Assets and Facilities Management BE SUPPORTED that the lease of portion of erf 2442, adjacent erf 3497situated at Voogdy Street, Kuilsriver, shown and lettered ABCD on the attached sketch ET 578 marked Annexure A in extent approximately 153m², to Visser and La Cock Trust or their successors in title, BE APPROVED subject to inter alia the following conditions, that a) A tariff rental of R791 per annum excluding VAT of 14% where applicable, being R110.74 (in total – R901.74) be payable; b) The lease will endure for a period of ten years, subject to an option to renew the lease for a further ten-year period; c) The rental will be adjusted annually in terms of the rental tariff structure as approved by Council; d) The property be used for gardening and security purposes only; e) Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Poverty Management in terms of her delegated authority; f) Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements; g) No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property ACTION: BONGIWE MALI-SWELINDAWO / ADELE BANISTER’
