Resolution detail
Ms Helen Jordaan delivered a visual presentation showing the blue flag beaches in the City of Cape Town. (A copy of the presentation is attached to the Official Minute as Annexure “B”.)
Ms Jordaan explained what blue flag status meant for a beach and explained the following:
•Environmental education
•Environmental management
•Water quality criteria
•Safety and services criteria
Following further discussion, it was RESOLVED that the presentation be NOTED.
