Meeting date: 19 October 2017
• Cllr Isaacs reported that a meeting was held between himself and the official, Mr Azher Shaboodien and that a tender has been submitted. They envisage to start between March and April 2018.
• The Chairperson suggested that the item be removed and when construction starts that we request regular updates to the Subcouncil in writing.

• Goodman Rorwana reported that the matter was forwarded to the Area Based and that Cllr Ntsodo would provide feedback but unfortunately he is not present today.
• The Chairperson suggested that we follow up on all the issues that have been forwarded to the Area Base.
RESOLVED
a) That a follow up be done with the Area Base to find out what the progress is on the matter.
b) That the item REMAIN on the Matters Receiving Attention.

• Cllr Isaacs reported that this is a big concern and the development plans has been approved by the Planning Tribunal months ago and nothing has happened so. He requested in the interim for this community to have some basic services for them. There are no roads and just to scrape the roads so that it is accessible for vehicles to drive through and also sewer blockages happen on a daily basis as well as the cleanliness of the area.
• The Chairperson suggested that the Cllr organizes a site visit with the Department to see what they can do and where necessary also log C3 notifications.
RESOLVED
a) That the Cllr organizes a site visit with the relevant Department to find out what they can do and also log C3 notifications where necessary in order to expedite the process.
b) That a formal report to the Sub-council be available at the next meeting.
c) That the item REMAIN on the Matters Receiving Attention.

• Cllr Isaacs reported that this is a long outstanding item and a couple of months back this was on the agenda of the Planning Tribunal and it was approved, thereafter everything just went quiet. He is having another meeting with the community and he cannot say to them what is going to happen and requested that this be forwarded to the Area Based office.

b) That the item REMAIN on the MRA.

That the motion submitted by Cllr V Isaacs be SUPPORTED and that Subcouncil 24 engages with the Informal Settlements Department regarding Deep Freeze Development Project.
