RESOLVED by casting vote that:
The application for subdivision into three portions, as shown on plan subdivision Annexure C BE APPROVED in terms of Section 99 of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to the following changes:
Amend reason 7.1.6 as follows:
7.1.6 It is unlikely that the proposed subdivision into three portions will have a significant impact on the health, safety and wellbeing of the neighbouring properties, given that conditions relating to common boundary building line setbacks are imposed.
Amend reason 7.1.8 as follows:
7.1.8 As only two additional portions will be created, it is unlikely that the proposal will have negative traffic impact
7.1.10 Amend reason 7.1.10 as follows:
Imposing a condition related to common boundary building line setbacks to limit the impact of future development on the immediately abutting properties.
Annexure A:
Delete condition 2.3.1
Delete condition 2.3.2
Add new condition 3.1.1 as follows:
3.1.1 That only one dwelling unit be permitted on portion 1 of the subdivision
Renumber condition 3.1.1 to be 3.1.2 as follows:
3.1.2 No vehicular access shall be permitted from Watussi Drive onto portions 2 and 3 of the subdivision
Renumber condition 3.1.2 to be 3.1.3
