Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
The application in terms of Section 42(i) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, for Consent Use to permit a Place of Worship to operate from a portion of Erf 8853, Table View, Milnerton, as detailed in Annexure A BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to add new reason 7.1.8 as follows:

7.1.8 The property is located in a PT2 area. Although no parking is required, 6 parking bays are provided.

Annexure A:
Correct condition 2.6 as follows:
2.6 The vehicles of individuals attending the worship activities shall not be permitted to block driveways of adjacent land owners or cause a traffic hazard in the abutting residential streets.

Renumber condition 2.7 to be 2.7A and correct as follows:
2.7A The number of worshippers on the property to be limited to 20 people at any given time.

Add new condition 2.7B as follows:
2.7B The property shall be occupied by a permanent resident
