RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY that:

An administrative penalty in the amount of R1 500.00 BE DETERMINED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 10584 Constantia with regard to the unauthorised building work in accordance with the plan drawn by DMC Projects with drawing numbers DMC-23-283-100_B, DMC-23-283-101_B, DMC-23-283-102_B & DMC-23-283-103_B, all dated July 2023.
REASONS FOR DECISION:

The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report, except reason 6.3 which is amended and 6.6 is deleted:

6.4. The extent of the contravention is small and is not visible from the street hence the reduction in the penalty amount.
