RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY that:

An administrative penalty in the amount of R30 000.00 BE DETERMINED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 4913 Hout Bay, regarding the unauthorised land use and building work, as shown on the plan drawn by DV8 architects, with drawing number CCC.100, dated 2024-04-04.







REASONS FOR DECISION:

The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report, except reason 6.3 which is amended as follows:

6.3. At ±150m2, the extent of the contravention is very large which warrants an increase in the penalty.
