UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for rezoning of Rem Erf 966, Somerset West, from General Residential Zone 2 to Local Business Zone 2 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in attached Annexure A

b. The Site Development Plan No A100 rev B dd 05/09/2023 to allow for a medical practice and wellness centre BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in attached Annexure A

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to:

Amend reason 6.1 as follows:
6.1 The proposed rezoning is in line with the objectives of the Municipal Spatial Development Framework and the Helderberg District Plan as it will contribute to the development of a mixed-use environment in support of the Somerset West Central Business District
