RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY that:

a. The application for rezoning of Erf 8727 Hout Bay from Rural Zone to General Residential Subzone GR2, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions as set out in Annexure A.

b. The application for consent to permit a hotel in terms of Item 40(b) of the Development Management Scheme, on Erf 8727 Hout Bay, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

c. The application for a departure, as set in Annexure A, for Erf 8727 Hout Bay, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
Amended Application

1.3. Departure from Item 41(e)(i) of the Development Management Scheme: To permit portions of the hotel to be setback 3.275m in lieu of 4.5m from the southern common boundary.
