RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY that:
a. The application for temporary land use departure in respect of erf Re-8759, Bellville to allow for office use BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, subject to conditions as stipulated in Annexure A.
b. The application for permanent departure in respect of erf Re-8759, Bellville to increase the carriage way crossing width from 17.5m to 20m BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015.

Note: That the applicant be advised that council may not support further temporary departure of this nature on this property.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the planner’s report and added an additional reason that reads as follows:
6.1.3. The applicant has acknowledged the temporary nature of the approval and alternative location for this business has been sought.
